文件類型2：Microsoft Works Word Processor Document

文件說明：

Document created with Microsoft Works word processing software; similar to a Microsoft Word (.DOC) document, but does not include advanced formatting options and macros that a Word document may contain.

WPS files are recognized by most Windows versions of Microsoft Word; they can also be opened within Microsoft Publisher, but you may need to select Word 2000 or All File Types in the Open dialog box.

The Macintosh version of Microsoft Works was discontinued after version 4.0; however, WPS files can still be opened on a Mac using NeoOffice 2.2 or later; they may also be converted to other word processor formats using MacLinkPlus.

NOTE:

The WPS format was discontinued by Microsoft in 2006 and was replaced by the standard Microsoft Word .DOC format.
